Charity
Moiko Records teamed up with several wonderfully talented artists to create a charity cd project. This project has been a great success and some of these cds including the one I produced "Reggae International" are now being considered for grammy nomination. Well Done Moiko Artists

When we start out in the music industry, we are full of ideas and dreams. We know what we want and everything is fresh. However, after many knock backs, and let downs sometimes the dream starts to fade and the ideas dry up.
At this point we have a choice to make. Do we continue down the path we have taken, change careers or settle and "sell-out" Its not easy but we have to remember why we started in the first place.
Only the ones who really want it can make it. it may take longer, it will definitely be harder but it is achievable. The days of the Major Labels signing artists to large contracts are gone. If you want it bad enough, forget abot being discovered by a major label A&R rep, there are too many artists out there trying to do the same thing. You have to think outside the box.
Develop your own style do not try to emulate other artists who are already established. Its ok to "cover" some of their material to get yourself not...

Several of the cds for the Moiko Records Charity CD project are now being considered for grammy nomination.
It was a pleasure working on these projects with many of the other artists and it is thrilling to see the progress that these albums have made.
"It Aint About Us" is a fantastic name for the project and it truly is not about us.
To help others who are in need is a wonderful generous thing to do and now we all have the opportunity to help. Whether we contribute

Too many artists think that just because they are young and attractive that's all it takes to be successful in the music industry. It helps but it wont sustain you forever. Beauty fades....Talent doesn't. Being talented is what sustains all the great artists. If you have the whole package then good for you, but dont rely on your looks. The time will come when they are gone and then where will you be?
Moiko Records does not care about your age, its a label that cares about talent. Thats

Little gits need to be locked in a room and tortured with their own voices forever. Except that they are so in love with themselves that they would enjoy themselves. Their music should be used to punish criminals that should bring the crime rate down, but may bring up the suicide rate of criminals who have to listen to them.

Everywhere I look I see these two damn idiots stinking up the screen with their non talent. I am beginning to think I am in the Twilight Zone. Some stupid tv exec has now given these twin morons their own tv show omg. Please are we all brain dead. I guess you have to be a complete jerk with no talent except the ability to annoy EVERYONE in order to be noticed in the UK. Then musicians in the UK wonder why they are not getting as much exposure in the rest of the world. WAKE UP ITS BECAUSE O

How do we forget real talent and end up listening to the regurgitated bile that comes from the mouths of so called musical acts like Jedward? Our ears are violated by the garbage that they refer to as music.
Just because Louis Walsh (X Factor UK) wanted to annoy Simon Cowell, these two juvenile boils are firmly planted on backsides of real artists around the world. Lord help us to get back on track and start investing in real musicians again.
